  • Your name and email address as the ListedOn Profile owner
  • Business description, services, and other ListedOn Profile content
  • Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider — we do not store card details)

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit our website, we may collect:

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Browser type and device information
  • Pages visited and time spent on the site
  • Referring website or search terms

2.3 Publicly Available Business Information

We may collect business information from publicly available sources (such as Companies House, public websites, and business registries) to pre-populate draft profiles from audit signals. This information is limited to business name, registered address, business type, and publicly listed contact details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Publish and maintain your ListedOn Profile
  • Structure your profile data for search and AI discovery (Schema.org, llms.txt, API)
  • Send AI Visibility Report and outreach emails you have not unsubscribed from
  • Process payments and manage your ListedOn Pro subscription
  • Communicate with you about your ListedOn Profile, account, or our services
  • Improve our website, services, and user experience
  • Comply with legal obligations

Outreach emails include an unsubscribe link. When you use it, we stop outreach for that business email and honour the opt-out immediately.

4. Public Nature of ListedOn Profiles

By submitting an ListedOn Profile, you understand and agree that your business information will be made publicly available. This is fundamental to how our service works — your ListedOn Profile is designed to be discovered and read by AI engines, search engines, and human visitors.

Public ListedOn Profile information includes:

  • Business name, address, and contact details
  • Business description, services, key facts, and use cases
  • Structured data (Schema.org JSON-LD) embedded in your ListedOn Profile page
  • Data included in our llms.txt file and JSON API

Your personal email address (as the ListedOn Profile owner) is not published on your ListedOn Profile page unless you choose to include it as a business contact method.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process personal data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract — processing necessary to provide our ListedOn Profile service to you
  • Legitimate interest — processing necessary for the operation and improvement of our service, including pre-populating ListedOn Profiles from public data
  • Consent — where you have given explicit consent, such as for marketing communications
  • Legal obligation — where we are required by law to process or retain data

6. Data Sharing

We share your ListedOn Profile data in the following ways:

  • Publicly on our website — your ListedOn Profile is visible to all visitors
  • Via our API — your ListedOn Profile data is available through our public JSON API
  • Via llms.txt — your ListedOn Profile data is included in files designed for AI engine consumption
  • Payment processors — payment data is shared with our payment provider for transaction processing
  • Hosting providers — our website is hosted on infrastructure that processes requests containing your data

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

7. Data Retention

We retain your profile data for as long as your profile is active. If you cancel your Pro subscription, your profile reverts to the free tier. If you request full removal, we will delete your profile data within 30 days of the request.

We retain account and payment records for 7 years to comply with financial and tax regulations.

8. Your Rights

Under GDPR and UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Restriction — request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
