A neighbourhood coffee shop and kitchen in Chelmsford. Proper coffee, all-day brunch and everything on the counter baked here that morning. We open early for the commute and take it slowly at weekends. Bring the dog, the kids or your laptop.

Are you dog-friendly?
Yes, inside and out. There are water bowls and dog biscuits at the counter.
Do you have gluten-free options?
Yes: gluten-free bakes daily, gluten-free bread on any toast dish, and a granola bowl and salad made without gluten. Our kitchen handles flour, so we can't promise anything is free from traces.
Do you do vegan food?
Yes. The avocado toast, the soup, the salad bowl and the brownie are all vegan, and oat, soy and almond milk cost nothing extra.
Can I work from a laptop?
Yes, Monday to Friday. There is free wifi and sockets along the window bench. At weekend brunch we keep the tables laptop-free.
Do you take bookings?
For groups under 6, just walk in. For 6 or more, give us a call.
Is there step-free access?
Yes, a step-free entrance and an accessible toilet.
Do you take cash?
Card and contactless only.
Can I order a cake?
Yes, with 48 hours' notice. Ask at the counter or email us.
Do you do private hire?
Yes, evenings, for up to 40 people.
